Project Hail Mary Mission Enamel Pin | Iridescent Galaxy Spaceship Lapel Pin | Sci-Fi Novel & Movie Bookish Gift (1.57")
THE NAME OF A VERY LONG SHOT
A dying sun.A ship called Hail Mary.
Earth is losing sunlight, and the answer lies far beyond any familiar journey. The Hail Mary takes a scientist toward Tau Ceti to investigate why that star is different. Its name carries the odds of the mission before Grace has even remembered what he is there to do.
The ship has to keep its questioner alive.
The vessel is a working answer to the distance: laboratory, living space and machinery built around an interstellar experiment. In the novel’s design, it can shift into a rotating configuration to provide artificial gravity. The survival problem is present in the architecture as well as in the science.
The pin compresses that undertaking into the ship above a sunburst, with metallic lines standing out against shifting purple, blue and orange. At four centimeters wide, the mission can sit on a lapel; the reason for the launch remains as large as the star beneath it.
